- Feb 277:00 PMDrew Darrow Memorial Poetry Reading: Leslie SainzDrew Darrow Memorial Poetry Reading Leslie Sainz February 27, 2024 Leslie Sainz is the author of Have You Been Long Enough at Table (Tin House, 2023), winner of the 2024 Audre Lorde Award and a finalist for the Poetry Society of America's Norma Farber First Book Award and the Vermont Book Award. The daughter of Cuban exiles, her work has appeared in the Academy of American Poets' Poem-a-Day, Yale Review, Kenyon Review, American Poetry Review, and elsewhere. Originally from Miami, she lives in Vermont and works as the managing editor of New England Review. She is a former Stadler Fellow at Bucknell. The annual Drew Darrow Memorial Reading is organized by the Bucknell Writing Center and co-sponsored by the Stadler Center for Poetry & Literary Arts. The reading honors the memory of Drew Darrow, a 1986 graduate of Bucknell and Writing Center student-employee who died in 1997. His parents, Carl and Mimi Darrow, along with family and friends, established the fund that supports the reading in Drew's memory.

- Feb 287:30 PMEsmé Quartet (Classical)The quartet is based in Germany and has rapidly gained a worldwide reputation as a chamber ensemble of exceptional artistry and achievement. In spring 2018, the group won first prize as well as sweeping four special prizes at the prestigious Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition in London, and in the same year, it became HSBC Laureate of the Académie du Festival d'Aix. This recognition followed prizes at the Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition and the 55th Possehl Musikpreis Lübeck. In October 2020, the quartet was awarded the first Hans-Gál Prize by the Academy of Sciences and Literature Mainz and Villa Musica.
