- Nov 2410:30 AMLewisburg Society of Friends (Quaker) Weekly MeetingThe Lewisburg Friends Meeting for Worship (Religious Society of Friends: Quakers) meets every Sunday on the Bucknell campus at 10:30 am to 11:30 am, followed by short Quaker-related videos, discussion, fellowship, and light snacks until noon in Fellowship House, 628 St. George Street. Our Meeting is unprogrammed, meaning that we have no minister nor prepared sermons, and we sit in silent prayerful meditation. Occasionally and if spiritually moved, anyone attending the Meeting may speak. We welcome students and visitors from all denominations, spiritual paths, and backgrounds. - Nov 2612:00 PMWeekly Mindfulness Meditation SessionsWhether you are an experienced meditation practitioner or a brand new beginner, you are welcome to attend weekly mindfulness meditation sessions in the Rooke Meditation Chapel on Tuesdays 12:00-12:50, beginning on September 17th. Kim Daubman, professor emerita and certified meditation teacher, will lead the sessions. Sessions will include some discussion of the benefits of meditation and how to sustain a practice, but the bulk of the time will be spent in guided meditation.
