- 5:45 PM3h 30mDon't Let's Go To The Dogs Tonight
- 7:30 PM1h 30mPerformance by Ahn Trio and (((April 33)))The Ahn Trio is applauded for their freewheeling genre-bending approach to chamber music, original programming, and innovative collaborations with diverse art forms such as visual and multimedia artists, B-boy dance company, DJ's, and rock bands, earning them the nickname "classical revolutionaries" given to them by New York Newsday. Formed by three Julliard-trained Korean-American musical trailblazing sisters – pianist Lucia, cellist Maria, and former member violinist Angella – the Trio has released nine critically acclaimed albums on EMI Classic, Sony Music, Warner Music, and Maria Ahn Music. In addition to two Triple Concertos written for them, Pat Metheny, Michael Nyman, Hyung-ki Joo, esteemed recipient of numerous Academy Awards Maurice Jarre, Mark O'Connor, Tae Hong Park, DJ Spooky, Chiel Meijering, Mark Baechle and Kenji Bunch have all written music for them. Most recently, iconic composer Laurie Spiegel wrote a stunning work called Island of Peace for Lucia and Maria to include in their upcoming EP of Laurie Spiegel's music. They have performed at President Obama's White House, the prestigious TED Conference. Buenos Aires' Teatro Colon, Vienna's Musikverein, New York's Lincoln Center, Leipzig's Gewandhaus, Beijing's Concert Hall, Istanbul's Aya Irini in Topkapi Palace – all around the world where the music was in demand – and were seen on the pages of TIME and VOGUE magazines, as well as on global GAP ads, GQ, and People Magazines' 50 most beautiful people issue, to name a few. Ahn Trio, with their new violinist Zach Brock, performed at sold out concerts of Mark O'Connor's Triple Concerto and Ahn Trio recital program this past December in Seoul and Yeosu. Ahn Trio continue their unique ahn-classical musical adventure with three special EPs coming out this year. (((April33))) is the newest initiative from Ahn Trio's Maria and Lucia, and pianist Lucia Ahn. They embark on an intricate musical exploration of the music of sound. By harnessing natural soundscapes and recycled music, (((April33))) delves into the ever-changing interplay between spaces, places and the sonic traces left by humans, machines and the environment. These sonic imprints, reformulated through melodies, harmonies, rhythms, timbres, and computer transformations, become musical experiences that bring awareness to contemporary themes, particularly the urban noise pollution phenomenon.
