- May 55:00 PMThe Bucknell Fashion Archive LaunchOn May 5th, as the fashion world celebrates the Met Gala - an event that supports the Metropolitan Museum of Art's legendary Costume Institute - we invite you to join us for a celebration of fashion history at Bucknell University! Join us for refreshments and a curated exhibit to mark the launch of Bucknell's innovative digital fashion archive. The Bucknell Fashion Archive features clothes and fashion ephemera seeped in Bucknell history. The new digital archive offers a glimpse into the past while paving the way for future explorations in dress history and textile preservation through an accessible digital platform. There will be opening remarks by Professor Carly Holzwarth, head of Bucknell's Costume Department and the archive presentation will be given by Natalie Shoch, Costume Shop Manager.
