- Jan 2511:00 AMGospel Fellow at Rooke ChapelThe 2025-26 Rooke Chapel Gospel Music Fellowship offers current master's or doctoral students (and recent graduates) the opportunity to cultivate the Gospel music tradition within a vibrant, multicultural University worship setting. The fellow leads, in collaboration with the Protestant chaplain and director of music, weekend residencies open to students, staff, faculty and the local community through the course of the academic year, which are designed to teach, explore and celebrate Gospel music. Rooke Chapel is pleased to welcome back Rev. Angela Jones as our 2025-2026 Gospel Music Fellow! The Rev. Angela Jones is a Howard University School of Divinity graduate and gospel recording artist who has performed with genre Billboard-charting artists such as Richard Smallwood, Yolanda Adams, Bebe Winans, Marvin Sapp, Brandon Camphor & OneWay, to name a few. Her singing group, Brandon Camphor & One Way, has been nominated for Stellar Awards, has been included on Billboard's top-30 chart four times, and has received three Wammie Awards. Jones currently serves as minister of worship arts at Word For Life Church Ministries in Maryland. In 2024-25 Rev. Jones served as the Rooke Chapel Gospel Music Fellow and we look forward to welcoming her back to Bucknell. Join us Saturdays from 2-4pm for rehearsals and Sundays 11am-12pm Learn more about Rev. - Feb 57:00 PMMeghana Mysore & Jordan FranklinJordan E. Franklin is the Spring 2026 Philip Roth Resident in Creative Writing at Bucknell. She is the author of the poetry collection, when the signals come home (Switchback Books), and the chapbook, boys in the electric age (Tolsun Books). She is the winner of the 2017 James Hearst Poetry Prize, the 2020 Gatewood Prize, and the 2024 AWP Intro Journals Project Award. Meghana Mysore, from Portland, Oregon, is an Indian American writer and a daughter of immigrants. Her poems, stories, and essays have appeared in The Yale Review, The Massachusetts Review, Pleiades, Roxane Gay's The Audacity, Michigan Quarterly Review, and the anthology A World Out of Reach (Yale University Press). Her short story collection, Let All Our Ghosts Depart, is forthcoming from West Virginia University Press. She is working on a novel about womanhood, memory, bodies, and ghosts. Mysore holds a Consortium for Faculty Diversity Postdoctoral Fellowship in English in 2025-26.

They perform alongside charismatic frontman James Kee and bassist Jeff Partin (Rhonda Vincent, etc.) making them a powerhouse leader of the next generation in bluegrass excellence.
