Meditation Class

Weekly Bible Study at 5:15pm led by Chaplain Kurt Nelson (and a variety of faculty and staff guests throughout the semester) followed by a home-cooked meal at 6:00pm (gluten free and vegan options always available). You are invited to dinner, or Bible Study, or both!

DiscipleMakers Christian fellowship is a club that meets to discuss the gospel and learn how to grow together to be more like Jesus. At large group, we sing worship songs, have a teaching on a Bible passage, and grow in fellowship together. All are welcome!!

After our Rooke Chapel worship service, we gather for food and good conversation. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options always available.

You are invited to our ecumenical Christian worship service, every Sunday during the academic year at 11:00am. Our services are brief, thoughtful and welcoming, and feature music by the Rooke Chapel Vocal Ensemble and a message from Chaplain Kurt Nelson. Lunch and fellowship follow each service. Rooke Chapel values inclusion and is committed to ensuring accessibility. The Rooke Chapel Gospel Music Fellowship offers current master's or doctoral students (and recent graduates) the opportunity to cultivate the Gospel music tradition within a vibrant, multicultural University worship setting. The fellow leads, in collaboration with the Protestant chaplain and director of music, weekend residencies open to students, staff, faculty and the local community through the course of the academic year, which are designed to teach, explore and celebrate Gospel music. Our services are brief, thoughtful, welcoming, and affirming, featuring student leadership and music by the Rooke Chapel Choir. Our theme for the Spring 2025 semester is "Beloved, Created in the Image of God, Deserving of a Chance to Thrive." Join us at 11:00am, followed by lunch and conversation afterwards (vegan and GF options are always available). Childcare during services will be available for children under the age of 5.
