Our Orientation Assistants (OAs) will meet you outside your residence hall to help you unpack the car and carry your belongings inside.

All first-generation students and families, as well as First in the Family participants, are invited to join us for an information reception. Enjoy light refreshments, build your network of new families and Bucknell faculty and staff, and receive a personal welcome from President John Bravman.

Class of 2028 students will begin community conversations with their Residential Adviser (RA), Orientation Assistants (OAs) and, if part of a Residential College, their Junior Fellow (JF).

New students will gather together and receive a warm welcome into the Bucknell community. The event will conclude with a procession to the Rooke Chapel Lawn and through the Christy Mathewson Memorial Gates – a Bucknell tradition!
