- DescriptionAs part of the Bucknell Humanities Center's Themed-Year-Programming, "Black Appalachia and the Search for Nowhere" we are hosting a Film Screening: THE EASTERN KENTUCKY SOCIAL CLUB, followed by a virtual Q and A session from the director, William Isom II after the viewing.Film screening located in the Gallery Theatre, ELC 3rd Fl. The Eastern Kentucky Social Club (EKSC) was founded in 1969 by Appalachian families who migrated out of the coalfields to mostly northern cities.
