Open to all students and families, this reception will showcase campus resources and networks available to support first-generation students and families. First in the Family participants and first-generation students and families are encouraged to attend. Enjoy light refreshments, build your network of Bucknell families, faculty and staff, and receive a personal welcome from President John Bravman and other University representatives.

University staff will kick-off this event with an official welcome for all new transfer students. Students will also meet the Transfer Orientation Assistants, get to know other new members of your class and learn what awaits during the rest of Transfer Student Orientation.

New students will gather together and receive a warm welcome into the Bucknell community. The event will conclude with a procession to the Rooke Chapel Lawn and through the Christy Mathewson Memorial Gates – a Bucknell tradition!
