- DescriptionOur annual Susquehanna Valley Voices reading presents two writers based in (or otherwise connected to) the greater Susquehanna Valley, highlighting the rich literary culture of our local area. To underscore the community nature of this series, the SVV reading normally takes place in an off-campus venue.Le Hinton is the author of seven collections including, most recently, Elegies for an Empire (2023) and Sing Silence (2018), both from Iris G. Press. He lives in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.Sarah Reish Desmond, a Lewisburg native, is the author of What We Might Become: Stories. A Lewisburg native, she is at work on a novel about grief and redemption set in the rural Pennsylvania of her upbringing. She lives in Boston.
