Bucknell in the Caribbean Information Session

    Bucknell in the Caribbean Information Sessions Please share with students you think might have an academic interest! Two Sessions (students need to attend only one session): Tuesday, September 30, 12 - 1 pm Tuesday, October 21, 5 - 6 pm Hildreth-Mirza Great Room, Meal Provided Earn course credit while spending time in the richly historied islands of Puerto Rico and Antigua during summer of 2026. This 3 week course will be held in May - June 2026. Bucknell in the Caribbean is deeply experiential. Students will deal with historical and contemporary knowledge and immerse themselves in learning about the rich cultures of the Caribbean while meeting people in urban and rural communities. The program includes daily group trips to significant community based and/or historical locales in Puerto Rico and Antigua. Integrated into the course are readings and assignments which delve into the Caribbean's literary, historical, and linguistic geographies.
