- Jan 315:30 PMAUDITIONS: Spring Choreographer's ShowcaseCome audition for the annual Spring Choreographer's Showcase! Come dressed to move; you do not have to prepare an audition piece. An evening to celebrate new choreographers, this spring showcase once again spotlights the new work from beginning DANC 262: Dance Composition students, featuring a large cast of student performers. The evening will also feature the talents of Bucknell student dance groups, as well as introductory performance classes. Performances will be on Thursday, March 27th at 7:30pm and Saturday, March 29th at 2:00 and 7:30pm in the Tustin Studio Theatre.
- Jan 317:30 PMPablo Giménez Spanish Ensemble (World Music/Flamenco)Giménez holds degrees in classical and flamenco guitar from the Conservatory of Granada and the Conservatory of Córdoba, respectively. Additionally, he has studied at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, with guitarists David Martínez, Oscar Ghiglia and Paco Peña. Giménez performed his solo Spanish guitar repertoire at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center in New York in 2016. The show, Inspired by Flamenco, has also been performed in China, Taiwan, Poland, Germany and Spain. In 2017, he was awarded the Young Granada Prize for Art by the Instituto Andaluz. That same year, he formed the trio, Corazon de Granada, which made its world debut at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
